Some mysterious figures were hurrying through the tunnels in the Moonisland. Three of them were merely human, yet the last one was something more magnificent, she was deva. Actually two devas as Zalyanitha was carrying Padme stuck in the armor on her back. First of the group was mortal named Dianas. His mood seemed to be high. Yes they getting free, getting out to the vast new world with new experiences and adventures. He turned his face to the rest of the group smiling encouragingly, yes they are very near to the freedom. His face was full of excitement. Finally the group sees the light at the end of the tunnel. Someone’s other’s head appeared the at entrance and a friendly hand waved to hurry up. All of the humans emerged to the light of the early morning. Zalyanitha was running after them but suddenly a wall of hands appeared from nowhere shutting off the way for devas. A gust of wind raised from nowhere carrying the words “no-one can leave my island, no-one can leave me”
In the smugglers bay Bastyn woke up completely soaked in the sea water. The sight was still blurry for him yet he was at least able to see something. There was some disturbances here. A gust of wind with a warning that no-one can leave the island.
First Zalyanitha tried to touch hands and order the artifact to unblock the way. Unfortunately, the will of the island was far more stronger then deva’s. Where will fails, brute force does a trick. Zalyanitha used her burden Padme stuck in her armor like a ram to break free the way from the hands and jumped to the beach. Bastyn was now able to hear that the source of the disturbances was no other than devas. He heard a voice of Zalyanitha and could see a figure of her carrying Padme. Hence it was no time for joy as ground shook and thousands of hand emerged from the ground and a colossal figure on top of them. “NO-ONE CAN LEAVE MY ISLAND”. Zalyanitha glanced through the thousand-hand statue to run to the water as far away from the shore. Yet one of the hands grabbed unresponsive body of Padme . Bastyn immediately jumped to help Zalyanitha and both of them successfully tore Padme from the clutches of marble hands. “NO-ONE CAN LEAVE ME”. Zalyanitha and Bastyn carrying carrying Padme ran as fast as they could to reach the water. One of the hands grabbed Zalyanitha ‘s feet, she successfully escaped by leaving the shoe which was immediately transported to the many-handed statue of One-Who-Gives-Reason-To-Silver and finally they reached the water. One-Who-Gives-Reason-To-Silver threw Zalyanitha ’s shoe in it’s fury and slid on the hands after the fugitives. It caught the girl, the one who was organizer of this escape. With no mercy statue smashed her helpless body several times to the ground. Fortunately for girl she died after the first of the blows.
There was no trouble for Zalyanitha to swim to the boat that was waiting for them to carry them to the ship further from the shore, hence Bastyn deared not to leave Padme so he had to walk on the sea bottom. Luckily they all reached the boat apart of the girl that was caught and killed. Then they spotted several floating pyramids in the sky. And then a deadly shower of silver rays began. Fugitives rowed as fast as they could to approach the ship, to escape this nightmare.
Suddenly some strange black thing appeared between the pyramids. It was acting like bird yet it looked like none known bird. It dived straigh to the group in the boat dodging all the silver rays from pyramids. Zalyanitha tried to hide herself from this strange creature. But it was not interested to Zalyanitha at all it grabbed Padme and shot out somewhere out of there. One of the silver rays pierced Zalyanitha‘s shoulder leaving a sharp pain.
Finally they reached the ship. All of the fugitives quickly climbed the board while ship’s ballistas were trying to shoot out pyramids. Sadly ballistas were less then near effective against floating houses. One of the rays reached another victim – Dianas . He fell in the sea and started to drown. Heroic deva Zalyanitha jumped after him to save him and drag him to the boat. Finally when everyone was aboard Zalyanitha shouted that pyramids cannot leave the island and the only way to loose them is to swim out of here. It seemed captain got the message and the ship started to move outside the island as far as possible. After some distance pyramids were no longer pursuing them, they were finally free.
Zalyanitha gave the first aid to Dianas stabling his condition. Poor guy had his lung pierced so he had serious problem breathing. And then both Bastyn and Zalyanitha met the captain. “What a hell are you doing here?”, captains devani was just perfect, “I agreed to smuggle only few young from the island, no-one was telling about some devas”. His attention was drew to his crew. “Leave the bodies aboard, I will take care of them”. That was enough for Bastyn to realise that they are dealing with no other than the demon belonging to Rakshavyada – Atis.
Both Zalyanitha and Bastyn got their rooms and were not troubled on anything. They slowly swam on the mirrory surface of sea. Bodies were no longer on deck and captain closed himself in kitchen. There was constant sound of chopping from there. Naturally a crew felt very uneasy about such behaviour of the captain. Zalyanitha calmed them down by directing uncomfortable silence to whispers of unnatural habits of sorcerers with her talks. Finally evening came and everyone were too tired to do nothing but go to sleep. Bastyn only asked the first mate of the ship where they are sailing and the answer was not very reassuring. They were sailing to the purple harbour. The very same place they escaped before reaching this place.
Everyone went sleep only Bastyn ‘s paranoia was stronger then his fatigue. He was staying on guard. In the middle of the night when even the chopping sound died out from the kitchen Bastyn heard silent steps next to the door of Zalyanitha. A silent knock to the door. Zalyanitha woke up and asked who is there after approaching the door. A voice behind the door belonged to Padme . “Zalyanitha we have to leave this place, while he is not awake”. Bastyn came out of his room to see the figure of woman there. approaching her with candle he was able to see that this is indeed Padme , completely naked but all the patterns looked the same. “Who are you really, you cannot be Padme, she is dead”, Zalyanitha was still doubting. None of the words of Padme could prove differently. Only after Bastyn reassured that he is seeing none other then Padme , Zalyanitha opened the door. Again Padme urged them all to leave the ship. Bastyn already covered Padme ’s nudity with some rags. That was enough for him to spot the pattern of Atis mixed in the patterns of Padme .
They went outside. First went Bastyn then Padme and the last Zalyanitha . When they reached the deck they realised that no-one was there. That was more then suspicious to Zalyanitha surviving nothing else but deception and danger from this crazy new world. She grabbed the chest and tried to smash it to the back of Padme and missed. “What is wrong with you Zalyanitha, are you out of your mind?”, Padme was in shock. “Who are you?” Blind rage and madness mixed with suspicion could be seen in Zalyanitha ’s eyes. Bastyn then saw this strange activity shared his doubt "You have the pattern of Rakshavyada’s demon". To which Padme ‘s stature completely changed and you could hear some colours of mock “So the complete patterns of Padme was not enough to convince you, it is enough to have a doubt by spotting a tiny pattern of a demon”. Zalyanitha in her spontaneous maddness grabbed the candlestick to attack maybe-Padme but Bastyn was first to fall in the moment of paranoia led aggression and he stroke maybe-Padme completely shattering the jaw. Woman’s body helplessly flew to the board of the ship and laid there with no signs of life.
Zalyanitha calmed down and went back to sleep like there was nothing happened. Bastyn checked the dead body. Tried to search the captain in the kitchen, and finding nothing else but barrels full of human body parts. Then Bastyn checked the dead body again. It was still there – dead. Immortal merchant dragged maybe-Padme ’s body to the kitchen to hide it in one of the barrels and then woke up the first mate of the ship and informed him that captain is nowhere to be found and they need to choose another captain. Soon everyone was up with those news. There was some election of a new leadership of the ship. Bastyn interrupted in at a decent moment to cunningly suggest a new course of the ship – to the Rat kingdom.
Somewhere far far away in the middle of the sea another ship was sailing to the general direction of crimson empire. Rakshavyada was meditating in the end of the ship. He was not further disturbed there. Finally he rose to have a conversation with his host Saturn. First he approached one of the crew members and asked where the room of the prince is. The sailor seemed to live in constant fear and he refused to say anything rather not from fear but from the bigger fear to reveal anything. Rakshavyada made a threat that he might be over tossed out of the board if he says nothing. To which sailor just voluntary just over the board. No-one hurried to his help. So Rakshavyada decided to check the rooms by himself. When he approached the hold someone has landed on the deck. It was cloak like human shape, similar to the one Rakshavyada had his fight with. The was figure of Padme’s armor lying next to it.
